This is one of the most common questions when organizing a slicing service. According to our experience, in such celebrations there are always more appetizers besides ham, so we recommend:

• 1 ham → up to 90-100 people.

• 2 hams → from 100 to 200 people.

• 3 hams → from 200 to 300 people.

Our calculations already take into account that in weddings and events there is usually a wide variety of food, not just ham. The recommendation is based on what we have seen in many previous services.

In these intermediate cases, we propose two options: a single larger piece (from 9 kg) or two smaller pieces. In weddings, if there is leftover ham from the two pieces, we keep it for the late-night snack, if there is one.

It depends on the number of guests and pieces:

• 1 cutter → for 1 or 2 hams.

• 2 cutters → for 2 to 4 hams.

• 3 cutters → from 3 to 6 hams.

When a professional cuts two pieces at the same event, it is usual to have the first one ready before starting and cut the second one live for the audience. Three pieces are never cut by one person at the same service, to ensure that the ham maintains its texture and flavor.

With multiple cutters, the cutting is done on all pieces at once, there are fewer waits for guests, and the service becomes more appealing.

In weddings and events, no. The price is calculated per piece cut.

It depends on the weight and yield of the piece (usually between 45% and 50%). It usually gives between 60 and 80 dessert plates.

With 100 g plates, from one piece you get about 30 to 45 packed bags.

• Table (or we can bring a folding one within Catalonia).

• Tablecloth (we also bring it).

• Dessert plates (we can suggest options if the venue does not provide them).

• Shade or umbrella in case of heat, to protect the ham.

We can keep it for a late-night snack, finish and vacuum-pack it, or leave the piece for you to enjoy at home.
